Ride & Slide

Spend the first half of your day working up a sweat on some of Hakuba's best downhill MTB trails - and the second half cooling off in to deep canyon pools and waterfalls carved by milenia of fast flowing water.

Wet & Wild

Spend the morning exploring the rapids of the Himekawa river by raft. Just in case you didn't get wet enough, your afternoon will have you launching yourself down the falls of of a nearby canyon - this time without the raft.

Canyoning Combos

Canyoning is the sport of decending, well, canyons. These may be dry canyons but most of the time canyoning or canyoneering is done in creek canyons. Slide down waterfalls and splash in to deep pools that have been carved by milenia of fast flowing water. This is done by various methods: swimming, jumping, abseiling, using ropes, and cascading down whitewater chutes. There is some hiking involved to access the canyons, but about 80% of the time is spent in the water.

Mountain Biking (Downhill & Free Riding) Combos

Free Riding is just like the name implies, riding pretty much anything the area has to offer. Technical skill and balance are a prerequisite for this type of riding as we will be practicing narrow structure riding techniques, jumps, drops, steeps, hill climbing and cross-country riding. Shocks are not essential for this type of riding but it sure softens the impact for us mere mortals.
